Lead smelting rotary furnace is widely used for the lead paste smelting of battery recycling plants all over the world. The lead paste, lead grid or lead ore will have reduction reaction and become crude lead. The crude lead can be sold directly or put into lead refining kettle/pot for further refining process and being casted into ingots. The UNIONSUM tailor-made lead refining pot is supported by stove and covered by mobile cover. Inside the stove, there are refractory materials. The off-gas from lead refining kettle/pot and stove is collected and treated by dust collector.
Spent lead acid battery breaking and separation system is fully automatic environmentally friendly battery scrap recycling system. Through the system, batteries are crushed into pieces by breaking machine, and then the lead paste will be washed in the vibrating screen into the lead paste sedimentation boat. The oversized part from the vibrating screen then enters hydraulic separator. Through hydraulic separation, PP, heavy plastic and lead grids are separated from each other. Lead paste in the sedimentation boat will be stirred into suspended state in lead slurry mixing tank and then pumped to pre-desulfurization device when it achieves an appropriate status. After desulfurization, it will be sent to filter press to remove water and be stored in pit. Process includes: Battery unloading and storage Electrolyte collecting and filtering Battery charging Battery breaking Separating Lead plaster filter-pressing and storage Acid mist collecting and washing Through the process, the batteries will be separated into lead paste, lead grid, PP, and heavy plastics.
The machine is used after lead refining or composition adjustment in the lead kettle. The metal will be casted into suitable ingots for storage and transportation. The whole system mainly includes ingot moulds, rotating base, casting tundish, lead liquid outlet, and water cooling.
The machine is mainly used to cast lead liquid into mould, cool it for condensation of standard ingots, and stack the lead ingots one layer by one layer automatically. It can achieve full automatic control of the whole production process, so as to improve the production efficiency and save the labour cost, meanwhile the ingot quality is comparatively better. The whole system consists of lead liquid level control device, ingot casting device, stacking device, hydraulic system, electric control part and microcomputer control system.
Lead alloy anodes are permanently installed in the electrolytic cell to form electrode pairs with cathodes. The cells are electrocally connected in series and a voltage is aplied across the anode-cathode pair to produce Copper on cathode by electro-winning. During this process, oxygen is evolved at the anode surface. Loaded cathodes are periodically removed from the electro-winning electrolytic cells by a lifting bale and overhead crane for stripping cathode. Blank cathodes are then returned to electro-winning electrolytic cells with the lifting bale and the process is repeated.
